Setting up Newsgroups
- Step 1 – Open Outlook Express
- Click start and click on MAIL (if you have a icon on the desktop double click on the Outlook Express Icon)
- Step 2 - Click on TOOLS and go to ACCOUNTS
- Step 3 – Click on the News Tab
- Step 4 – Click ADD and NEWS
- Step 5 – Type in your name
- Step 6 – Type in your email address
- Step 7 – Type in the news server address: news.hcis.net
- Step 8 – Click Next and then FINISH
- Step 9 – Click CLOSE on the INTERNET ACCOUNTS box
- Step 10 - Click YES to downloading newsgroups
- Step 11 – Download Newsgroups
- Step 11 – Select the Newsgroups you want and click SUBSCRIBE
- Step 12 – Select news.hcis.net on the FOLDERS menu to the left and view your newsgroups
